The University of Leicester invites applications for a Lead for Written Assessment - Year 3 and 5 at Leicester Medical School. You will lead the development, delivery and quality assurance of written assessments for MB ChB Years 3 and 5, including Short Answer Question and Single Best Answer exams, and will act as the local academic lead for the Medical Licensing Assessment Applied Knowledge Test.

• Medically qualified doctor with full GMC registration and licence to practise.
• Experience in undergraduate or postgraduate medical education with assessment focus.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with a wide range of colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, delivery and QA of written assessments for MBChB Years 3 and 5.
• Oversee Short Answer Question and Single Best Answer exams and related processes.
• Act as local academic lead for the Medical Licensing Assessment Applied Knowledge Test.
• Drive assessment strategy, question bank development, standard setting and marking.
• Coordinate examiner activities and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
