Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes is seeking an Assembly Technician (Powertrain Sub-Assembly) to join a high-performance team responsible for building and servicing power units for 2026 regulations. You will cover all aspects of assembly, build, servicing and maintenance of power units, including oil pumps, fuel systems, water pumps, Turbocharger and MGU-K, at the factory and on events if required.

The role includes working 4 on 3 off shifts (Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed), with benefits like on-site

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and Engine build experience.
• A high level of mechanical assembly competence.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and follow technical build processes and procedures including checklist data entry.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel to enable operation of internal business systems.
• Flexible attitude to travel and working hours (where required).
• Motorsport or high-end automotive experience (desired).

Responsibilities

• Assemble, build, service and maintain Power Units including oil pumps, fuel systems, water pumps, turbocharger and MGU-K.
• Work at the factory and, when requested, at events on-track or trackside.
• Follow build procedures and quality checklists to ensure high standards.
• Collaborate with team leaders and mechanics to meet deadlines and safety standards.

We are seeking an Assembly Technician (Powertrain Sub-Assembly) to help drive the future of motorsport innovation. You will be based at our state of the art engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, designed to produce high-performance Power Units for the 2026 engine regulations.

In this Assembly Technician role, you will cover all aspects of assembly, build, servicing and maintenance of our Power Units including oil pumps-fuel systems-water pumps, Turbocharger and MGU-K, both at the factory and on events if requested by the Team Leader or Trackside Chief Mechanic.

Knowledge and experience required:

• Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and Engine build experience
• A high level of mechanical assembly competence
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and follow technical build processes and procedures including checklist data entry
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel to enable operation of internal business systems.
