Job summary

Kubota invites you to join our Assembly team in Thame, UK, where you will assemble, check and modify machinery according to build instructions, ensuring quality and safety standards. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with a slightly earlier finish on Fridays.

You will work with tractors, ground care equipment, RTVs and excavators, using hand and power tools to meet customer specs, report faults, and help identify improvements while keeping the workspace clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling machinery according to build instructions.
• Ability to work within time limits and maintain safety standards.
• Identify faults and report issues to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new products (tractors, ground care, RTVs, excavators) to build specs using tools.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections and complete required tasks.
• Meet high-quality standards in assembly and pre-delivery checks.
• Rectify minor faults and carry out routine maintenance as needed.
• Identify faults in assemblies/processes and report them.
• Collaborate with teammates to spot process improvements.
• Keep workspace clean and organized.
• Adhere to health and safety policies to protect people and products.

We have a great opportunity to join our Assembly team, where you will be responsible for assembling, checking and modifying machinery according to build instructions, ensuring that all assemblies meet quality and safety standards. The hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.30pm with an earlier finish on Friday.

The Responsibilities Of The Assembly Technician Include

• The assembly of new products including tractors, ground care, RTV's and excavators to customer specifications following build instructions, checking and modifying as required, within time limits, using hand tools, power tools and specialised equipment.
• To undertake pre delivery inspections on Construction machinery and engines and carry out any work as required.
• Carry out assembly tasks to meet the company’s high-quality standards on builds and pre-delivery inspection.
• On occasion, rectifying minor faults and carrying out routine maintenance on all the company’s products and accessories in accordance with published service requirements, to highest total quality standards.
• To identify and report faults on assembly builds and/or processes.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• To undertake all duties and responsibilities with the highest regard to health and safety of people, product and facilities.
