Job summary

TipTopJob in Leamington Spa is seeking Assembly Technicians for an ongoing full-time role in a modern manufacturing environment. You'll read drawings, assemble, test and package components to high quality standards, with rotating weekly shifts and overtime as required.

The position offers 37.5 hours per week, with rotating rosters: Week 1 06:00-14:00, Week 2 14:00-22:00, averaging about £15.06 per hour gross. Previous manufacturing experience and attention to detail are valued.

The role

Responsibilities

As an Assembly Technician, youll play an important role in the production process, ensuring components are assembled, tested and prepared to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Assembling, fitting and testing components.
• Inspecting parts for damage or defects and completing production paperwork.
• Setting up and operating crimping machines, etchers and testing equipment.
• Picking and packing finished products ready for dispatch.
• Working to production schedules and achieving daily targets.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Working independently while contributing positively within a team.

The Successful Assembly Technician Will Have

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Assembly, fitting or quality inspection experience.
• The ability to read engineering drawings.
• A flexible approach with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high:quality work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to carry out manual handling duties.

Working Hours And Pay Rate

This is a full:time opportunity, 37.5 hours, Monday:Friday, working rotating weekly shifts and overtime as required.

Week 1: 06:00 : 14:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:00 : 12:10 on Friday : A GBP 13.69 p/h

Week 2: 14:00 : 22:00 Monday to Thursday and 12:10 : 18:20 on Friday : A GBP 16.43 p/h

As the shifts are weekly rotating, the pay rate averages out at A GBP 15.06 per hour
