Assembly Technician

Location: Manchester International Depot

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Shift: Day Shift

About the Role

Ganymede Solutions is partnering with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies to recruit an Assembly Technician for their digital equipment modification programme at Manchester International Depot. This project involves upgrading digital systems across the fleet, focusing on electrical installations and wiring for various systems including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, CCTV, passenger information, USB sockets, and driver cab upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical installations for digital upgrades
• Perform wiring and fitting tasks for various digital systems

Working Conditions

Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week, day shifts.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in electrical assembly, sub-assembly, panel wiring, or electrical improvements (commercial or industrial)

• Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol test and a full railway medical
• Provision of Right to Work documentation before deployment
