We are a global manufacturer based in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, seeking a skilled Assembly Technician / Fabricator / Production Technician / Manufacturing Technician / Assembly Engineer / Assembly Operative / Mechanical Technician / Pipework Fabricator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, inspection, and testing of fluid handling assemblies in accordance with customer requirements and engineering drawings.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and production, preferably within fluid handling, fluid power, or fluid systems, including valves, fittings, piping, regulators, hoses, filters, instrumentation, or similar.
• Experience with tube & pipe bending and cutting machinery is advantageous.

Package:

• Up to £38,000 depending on experience plus overtime
• 26 days holiday plus bank holidays

• 39 hours per week, with a 1pm finish on Fridays

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical assembly of fluid handling assemblies
• Working from technical engineering drawings and P&IDs
• Collaborate with engineering departments
• Fabricate, assemble, inspect, and test fluid handling assemblies
• Build and pressure test panels, ensuring valves are open
• Operate and program tube-cutting and pipe bending machines

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience in assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing as an Assembly Technician, Fabricator, Production Technician, or similar role
• Experience with fluid handling systems, including valves, fittings, piping, and instrumentation
• Knowledge of welding techniques such as MIG or TIG is beneficial
• Must be commutable to Bradley Stoke, Bristol
• Full UK Driving License

Salary & Benefits:

Up to £38,000 plus overtime, 26 days holiday, and early finish on Fridays
