Job summary

Renishaw is seeking a Production Manager to organise and manage the Assembly department across Woodchester and Miskin, coordinating Supervisors, Operators and Material Control staff to ensure on-time delivery and quality. You will oversee a 50–70 person team, manage plans, budgets and waste reduction, and adapt to shifts (6-2pm / 2-10pm) depending on staffing needs.

The role requires engineering education at least to HNC/Degree level and strong leadership, with a driving license for travel

Qualifications

• Qualified to HNC/Degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience managing large, high-variety manufacturing teams.
• Strong communication across levels and with subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement and monitor monthly production plans.
• Investigate and address quality issues and root causes.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineering on new products.
• Report monthly on KRAs and department performance.
• Manage department budget and control costs.
• Lead waste reduction and recycling in the department.
