Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assembly & Despatch Team Leader to join our manufacturing division in Deeside. This hands-on leadership role will manage day-to-day activities of the assembly and dispatch teams, ensuring products are completed, checked, packed and delivered to quality, safety and customer requirements.

You will plan workloads, monitor productivity, coach staff and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high health and safety standards across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in manufacturing/assembly/dispatch.
• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing beneficial.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities to meet production targets.
• Understanding of quality, health and safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organise a team across assembly and dispatch.
• Plan daily workloads to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor output, productivity and quality; resolve issues.
• Ensure sheet metal products are assembled to specifications.
• Oversee order checking, packing, labelling and dispatch.

This is a hands on leadership role within a busy production environment. You will manage the day to day activities of the assembly and dispatch teams, ensuring products are completed, checked, packed and delivered in line with quality, safety and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support and organise a team across assembly and dispatch.
• Plan daily workloads to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience leading or supervising a team within a manufacturing, production, assembly or dispatch environment.
• Experience within sheet metal manufacturing, fabrication or a similar engineering environment would be highly beneficial.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage priorities and meet demanding production and delivery targets.
• A good understanding of quality, health and safety and continuous improvement.
• Competent IT skills.
