Manufacturing Engineer role based in Stafford, full onsite, 6 months contract. Working hours are 07:15 – 16:30, Monday to Thursday, with occasional overtime including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays depending on workload, especially near project deadlines.
Ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience with ERP systems, assembly processes, manufacturing execution systems, process documentation, tooling, fixturing, and IOSH Managing Safety certification. Must have a driven personality eager to take action quickly.
Support and guide all aspects of production, costs, quality, safety, and environmental compliance in manufacturing.
Experience in assembly, ERP, manufacturing systems, process documentation, tooling, safety standards, and safety certifications.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions using various approaches.
Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean principles, implementation, and effectiveness measurement.
Manufacturing Equipment: Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment safely.
Manufacturing Processes: Experience in managing and optimizing manufacturing methods and technologies.
Manufacturing Safety: Ability to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance.
Standards, Procedures, and Policies: Familiarity with organizational standards and compliance monitoring.
