Job summary

Kinetic plc is seeking Experienced Assembly Operatives to join a world-leading engineering manufacturer in the Handforth/Cheadle area.

You will work a 37-hour week with an early finish every Friday, earning £12.71 per hour and benefiting from free onsite parking and uniform supplied. Mon-Thu: 8:00am–4:30pm; Friday: 8:00am–1:00pm. Training may lead to a pay increase and longer-term opportunities within a global business.

Kinetic Recruitment is recruiting Experienced Assembly Operatives to join a world-leading engineering manufacturer based in the Handforth/Cheadle area. With more than 70 years of engineering expertise, our client is a global leader in engine-boosting turbo systems. What will you be doing? As an Assembly Operative, you'll play an important role in the production process, working on high-quality turbo systems. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Assembling and disassembling turbochargers.


• Using hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers.


• Following technical drawings, work instructions and production processes.


• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet high standards.


• Rotating across different production areas, giving you the opportunity to develop a wider range of skills.


• Recording production information accurately.


• Working towards production targets while maintaining quality and safety.


• Working as part of a supportive and experienced production team

We are looking for candidates who have previous assembly, manufacturing or production experience. You will ideally have:

• Experience using hand tools, such as drills and screwdrivers.


• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.


• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.


• The ability to work well as part of a team.


• A strong understanding of health and safety.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.


• The ability and willingness to carry out manual handling duties.


• Experience working to production targets would be advantageous.
