Assembly Operative/Fitter (Aerospace)

Salary from £27,000 per annum + Overtime + Company Benefits + every other Friday off

Are you experienced in assembly and hands-on roles? Are you seeking dedicated training, development, and progression opportunities within a well-established aircraft sector company?

We offer an excellent opportunity for a Fitter to join a multibillion-turnover aircraft company, providing dedicated training, development, and career advancement within an industry-leading EASA 145 facility.

You will work in a specialist team within the safety department. Responsibilities include disassembly, testing, fault finding, and repairing various safety equipment such as rafts and slides.

The ideal candidate will be located within a commutable distance to Stansted Airport and have experience in a production or assembly role with hands-on skills, eager to further develop their expertise.

The Role:

1. Disassemble, test, fault find, and repair various aircraft safety equipment (inflatable slides, rafts, etc.)
2. Participate in dedicated training and technical development
3. Work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, with every other Friday off

The Person:

1. Background in assembly, manufacturing, or production with hands-on skills
2. Experience working with flight safety equipment is desirable but not essential
3. Experience within the aviation industry is desirable but not essential
