Job summary

A Warrington-based manufacturer invites Assembly Operatives to join their manufacturing team. You will operate production lines, feed materials, and assemble products using hand and power tools while reading drawings. You’ll perform quality checks and prepare items for dispatch, with overtime opportunities at enhanced rates.

An immediate start is available after interview, with rotating shift patterns including early and late weeks. Experience with MM tape measures is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with hand and power tools.
• Proficiency with a tape measure (mm preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Operate production lines and feed materials through machines.

Our client, a leading manufacturer of timber frames for the construction industry, is seeking experienced Assembly Operatives to join their dynamic manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production lines, feeding materials and products through machines
• Utilise hand and power tools for product assembly
• Interpret and work from drawings/diagrams to assemble products
• Conduct quality checks on finished products
• Prepare and wrap goods for dispatch
• Proven experience with hand and power tools
• Proficiency with a tape measure, preferably in millimetres (mm)

The working hours follow a rotating shift pattern:

Week 1: Monday to Friday,

06:00 - 14:00

Week 2:

• Monday to Wednesday,

14:00 - 00:15

• Thursday,

14:00 - 23:45

There is also the opportunity to work overtime at enhanced rates.
