Job summary

The Best Connection in Warrington is seeking an Assembly Operative to join the manufacturing team on day shifts. You will operate production lines, feed materials through machines, and use hand and power tools to assemble components in a timely, accurate manner.

You will read drawings, perform quality checks on finished products, and prepare goods for dispatch. This permanent, on-site role offers rotating shifts with potential overtime and an immediate start after interview.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret drawings/diagrams for assembly.
• Quality inspection experience is a plus.

Our client, a leading manufacturer of timber frames for the construction industry, is seeking experienced Assembly Operatives to join their dynamic manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production lines, feeding materials and products through machines
• Utilise hand and power tools for product assembly
• Interpret and work from drawings/diagrams to assemble products
• Conduct quality checks on finished products
• Prepare and wrap goods for dispatch
• Proven experience with hand and power tools
• Proficiency with a tape measure, preferably in millimetres (mm)

The working hours follow a rotating shift pattern

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00
• Week 2:
  • Monday to Wednesday, 14:00 - 00:15
  • Thursday, 14:00 - 23:45

There is also the opportunity to work overtime at enhanced rates.

An immediate start is available after a successful interview.
