Job summary

Bristol Industrial is seeking an Assembly Operative for an immediate start in Rochdale. The role is temporary ongoing (minimum 7 weeks) with hours Mon-Thu 6:00am–2:30pm and Fri 6:00am–11:30am. Pay £12.71 per hour, with training provided for machinery and a focus on quality and safety.

Ideal candidates will have assembly/production experience, be reliable and able to read instructions, and be comfortable working early shifts in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components on the ironing boards using hand tools

• Load parts onto the automated line for assembly
• Load machinery and pack finished items, label boxes for dispatch
• Follow all health & safety procedures at all times

Assembly Operative – Immediate start | Temporary

Location: Rochdale, OL12

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm / Friday: 6:00am – 11:30am

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Temporary ongoing (Minimum 7 Weeks) potential for longer.

Assembly Operative required for an immediate start with a well-established manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate with a background in within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components to the ironing boards, using hand tools
• Ensure consistent quality and output targets are achieved
• Operating machinery if required (training provided)
• Loading parts onto the automated line for assembly
• Loading machinery
• Packing items once assembled, and labelling the boxes for dispatch
• Follow all health & safety procedures at all times

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as an Assembly/Production Operative
• Experience working with tooling and assembly work
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to early shifts
