Job description

Assembly Operative

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative with soldering experience to join a growing manufacturing business based in Basingstoke. This is an ongoing temporary position.

Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out assembly of gauges including surface preparation, position layout, gauge handling, clamping.
2. Carrying out all aspects of wiring including soldering, wire and cable preparation.
3. Various assembly duties including bearing fitting, PCB assembly and soldering.
4. Read and understand basic job instructions.
5. Carry out inspection of own work.
6. Follow good practices in health and safety.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience within assembly.
2. Confident with soldering and PCB assembly.
3. Available immediately.
4. Ability to work as part of a team.

The Assembly Operative Role:

1. Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 3.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 2.45pm.
2. £12.21 per hour upwards depending on experience.
3. Ongoing temporary position with the potential to turn into a permanent contract.
