There are opportunities across different assembly areas. Depending on your experience, work can range from precision bench assembly through to the production of larger aircraft wing structures. The supplied specifications cover both wing‑structure assembly and broader A350 assembly work.
You’ll work as part of an experienced manufacturing team, assembling aircraft components from drawings, specifications, standard working practices and visual instructions.
Typical activities can include:
The A350 specification also includes bush spinning, bonding and over‑sealing, low‑level self‑inspection and some semi‑skilled sheet‑metal work.
We’re particularly interested in people with practical assembly or engineering experience.
Previous aerospace experience would be advantageous, but it isn’t the only background that will be considered. The MRS specification explicitly states that other engineering and assembly experience can be considered, with job‑specific training provided to successful candidates.
You could be a good match if you’ve previously worked as an:
Experience reading engineering drawings, manual drilling, deburring, using jigs and fixtures, sealants, fasteners or measuring equipment would be particularly useful.
