Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking skilled Assembly Fitters for aerospace manufacturing in Nottingham. The role involves building aircraft structures and assemblies to exacting standards using drawings, jigs, fixtures and specialist tooling.

Candidates with practical assembly or engineering experience will be considered, including those with aerospace or related backgrounds. Training will be provided for job-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on assembly or engineering background.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and using jigs/fixtures.
• Familiarity with measuring equipment and fasteners is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aircraft components from drawings and specifications.
• Drilling, countersinking, riveting and fitting fasteners.
• Operate pneumatic/bench-top tools and use jigs/fixtures.
• Perform basic measuring and inspection activities and ensure traceability.
