Job summary

Martin-Baker Aircraft Company Ltd in Denham near Uxbridge is seeking a Cell Leader to steer the assembly team responsible for complex mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, delivering output against production targets while driving efficiency and KPI improvement.

You will lead a high-performing team, coach individuals, use data to track performance, ensure health and safety, and develop a continuous improvement mindset in a site-based role that supports life-saving ejection seat

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment (e.g. fitters, machinists, operators).
• Strong understanding of complex assembly operations.
• Confident communicator who can influence, engage and motivate teams at all levels.
• Experience using data and KPIs to monitor and improve performance.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, balancing priorities and making decisions under pressure.
• Practical understanding of assembly tools and equipment (e.g. torque tools, gauges, measurement and test equipment).
• Proactive, accountable mindset with the confidence to escalate and resolve issues early.
• Share and demonstrate the Martin-Baker values.
