Job summary

Martin-Baker, the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats, is seeking a Seat Test Engineer to coordinate the Seat Test Department across programmes. You will prepare seat test instructions, test plans and arming schedules, and chair test readiness review meetings.

You will work with System, Human Engineering and Mechanical teams, present safety briefings and review boards, coordinate seat tests, and analyse data after tests. Join us to help save lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and managing test programmes.
• Knowledge and use of Test and Measurement Instrumentation, and associated test equipment.
• Experience of producing reports and technical data.
• Health and safety experience relating to a test environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate seat test activities across programmes.
• Prepare seat test instructions, test plans and arming schedules.
• Chair test readiness review meetings and risk assessments.
• Present safety briefings and test reviews to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate seat tests and evaluate data after completion.
