The position offers a 12-week assignment, a Monday–Friday days-only pattern with no weekends, and weekly pay, providing hands-on experience across multiple assembly disciplines in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Confidence using power tools, hand tools and air drills.
• Comfortable with manual handling and working in a noisy production setting.
• Methodical approach and a strong eye for detail.
• Own steel toe cap boots.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies to a high standard.
• Operate power tools, battery tools and air drills safely and accurately.
• Use hand tools to complete precise assembly tasks.
• Handle materials and heavier components, including insulation materials.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe, wearing PPE.

Assembler | Andover | £12.71 per hour

Rubicon Recruitment are currently looking for an Assembler who takes pride in getting every build right first time.

You'll work on electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies where accuracy and a careful eye make all the difference.

As an Assembler, you will benefit from:

• An initial 12-week assignment with an established Andover manufacturer
• A Monday to Friday, days-only working pattern with no weekends

As an Assembler, your responsibilities will include:

• Building electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies to a consistently high standard
• Operating power tools, battery tools and air drills safely and accurately
• Using hand tools to complete precise assembly tasks
• Handling materials and heavier components, including occasional work with insulation materials
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe, wearing the PPE provided
