Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking an Assembler in Andover to join a busy manufacturing team. You will build electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies to high standards using power tools, air drills and hand tools.

The role is a 12-week assignment with a Monday–Friday days pattern and weekly pay. Candidates should have prior assembly experience in manufacturing or engineering, be comfortable with manual handling in a noisy environment, and wear steel toe cap boots.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Comfortable with manual handling and working in a noisy production setting.
• Strict adherence to safety and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies to high standards.
• Operate power tools, air drills and hand tools safely and accurately.
• Handle materials and components, including insulation materials, with care.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe, using PPE as provided.

Assembler | Andover | £12.71 per hour

Rubicon Recruitment are currently looking for anAssembler who takes pride in getting every build right first time.

You'll work on electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies where accuracy and a careful eye make all the difference.

As an Assembler, you will benefit from:

• An initial 12-week assignment with an established Andover manufacturer
• A Monday to Friday, days-only working pattern with no weekends
• Weekly pay
• Hands-on experience across electrical, electronic and mechanical assembly work
• Clear daily tasks and set standards, so you always know what's expected

As an Assembler, your responsibilities will include:

• Building electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies to a consistently high standard
• Operating power tools, battery tools and air drills safely and accurately
• Using hand tools to complete precise assembly tasks
• Handling materials and heavier components, including occasional work with insulation materials
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe, wearing the PPE provided

As an Assembler, your experience will include:

• Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Confidence using power tools, hand tools and air drills
• Being comfortable with manual handling and working in a noisy production setting
• A methodical approach and a strong eye for detail
• Your own steel toe cap boots
