Under general supervision, performs semi-routine assembly activities to build products, systems, components, or assemblies in accordance with drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements. Applies established procedures to support production accuracy, quality, and schedule attainment.
Assemble components, subassemblies, and configured products using drawings, process instructions, specialized tooling, fixtures, measuring equipment, and tools. (35%)
Read and interpret assembly drawings, parts lists, operations sheets, visual aids, and standard work instructions. (25%)
Set up and operate automatic prepping, loading, insertion, or related assembly equipment as assigned. (15%)
Perform rework from test failures in accordance with standard repair procedures and incorporate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) into completed assemblies. (15%)
Verify product quality at required intervals and confirm accuracy of completed work. (10%)
High school diploma or equivalent, technical certificate, or equivalent experience.
Typically 2-4 years of assembly, production, manufacturing, or related experience.
Ability to interpret drawings, work instructions, parts lists, and operating procedures.
Experience using tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
Strong documentation, teamwork, and attention to detail.
