Job summary

Dean Forge in Buckfastleigh is seeking an Assembler/Finisher to join a busy manufacturing team. You will assemble components, perform finishing tasks and inspect products to meet high quality standards, using hand tools and workshop equipment.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a temp-to-perm pathway and long-term prospects in a respected local manufacturer.

About the Role

We are recruiting for an Assembler / Finisher to a well-established British manufacturer based in Buckfastleigh. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company renowned for quality craftsmanship and the production of premium wood-burning stoves and metal products. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for assembling, finishing and inspecting products to ensure they meet the high standards expected by Dean Forge, while supporting production efficiency and product quality.

• Previous finishing or product assembly experience
• Manufacturing or engineering workshop background
• Experience working to production targets and quality standards
