Job summary

Gi Group is seeking skilled Assemblers for a Stafford site on a temporary/ongoing contract. The role involves mechanical or electronics assembly, precise workmanship, and following blueprints. Immediate start with day shifts.

Join a busy production team, read technical drawings, operate various tools, and contribute to quality and efficiency. Overtime opportunities are available, with ongoing training and development provided by the client.

Qualifications

• Experienced assembler with mechanical or electronics focus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components or products per blueprints or instructions.
• Inspect items to ensure quality and measurements meet specs.
• Use hand tools, power tools and machinery safely.

Our client is looking for skilled Assemblers to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with either mechanical assembly or electronics assembly experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble & construct components or products according to blueprints, technical drawings, or work instructions
• Inspect assembled items and check measurements to ensure they meet quality specifications
• Use a wide variety of hand tools, power tools and machinery
• Work collaboratively with production teams to meet deadlines and targets
• Report defects, malfunctions, or quality issues to supervisors
• Maintain tools and keep the workspace organized
• Always follow safety and operational guidelines

About You

• Experienced Assembler
• Previous experience in mechanical, electronics or electrical assembly is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams or manuals
• Experience within the manufacturing industry ideally within a fast‑paced production role
