Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Leicestershire (Markfield) is seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will follow instructions to build, assemble and finish products, using hand and power tools, and work from technical drawings to ensure accurate results.

This is a permanent on-site role with opportunities for career progression, along with benefits such as free on-site parking and company events. Driving is required due to location.

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components following instructions from drawings and specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble parts.
• Check, wrap and prepare finished items for delivery or storage.
• Carry out additional duties as required to support production.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Markfield

Salary: £12.88 per hour

Shift: 7.30am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday), 07:30am - 12:30pm (Friday)

This is a manufacturing business with a fantastic reputation based in Leicestershire. As a company they create, make and install point-of-sale, visual merchandising and retail displays for some big brand names to well- known retail giants.

The Assembler Role:

We are currently recruiting for assembly workers to join our client based in Leicestershire. Your role will be to follow instructions through to build, assemble and create the finish product.

The Assembler Role:

• Assembling components together using various hand and power tools
• Working from technical drawings
• Checking and wrapping items.
• Any other duties as required.

About You:

• Have previous experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment is beneficial
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Work well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn
