Job summary

Staffline is currently hiring a Production Assembler for a 3-month contract in Staverton, Gloucester, situated between Gloucester and Cheltenham. The role focuses on assembling electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies from kits, testing units, and packaging finished products.

A background in manufacturing and IT literacy are valued. You will join a manufacturing team, work on varied assemblies, record test results, and maintain tidy work areas.

• Experience in assembling components and sub-assemblies.
• Able to work effectively within a small team.
• Competent IT skills to log tests and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various electrical assemblies from kits issued to you
• Assemble various mechanical sub-assemblies from kits issued to you
• Combine electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies into completed product
• Run basic tests on completed units in your work area
• Pack finished and tested products into specific packaging systems
• Record test results and keep a detailed log using company database
• Ensure good housekeeping and that the working area is tidy and organised

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Assembler to join an established non corporate manufacturing business ideally situated between Gloucester and Cheltenham.

You'll ideally have prior experience in manufacturing, however other comparable experience will be considered.

Duties

• Assemble various electrical assemblies from kits issued to you
• Assemble various mechanical sub-assemblies from kits issued to you.
• Combining electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies into completed product.
• Runs basic tests on completed units in your work area.
• Pack finished and tested products into specific packaging systems.
• Record test results and keep a detailed log using company database
• Ensure good house keeping ensuring working area is tidy and organised
