Job summary

Remedy Education are seeking aspiring graduates to gain valuable classroom experience in a welcoming Newham primary school for the 2026-2027 academic year. You will support pupils across KS1 and KS2, working with class teachers in lessons, small groups and one-to-one settings.

No prior school experience is required, though tutoring, mentoring, youth work or SEN experience would be advantageous. The role offers long-term potential for the full academic year, with a daily rate of £95–£110

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree or due to graduate.
• Interest in pursuing a career in teaching.
• Willingness to support pupils with SEN or additional needs where required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in lessons, in small groups and one-to-one as needed.
• Assist class teachers with whole-class activities and classroom management.
• Help with Maths, English, reading, writing, phonics and interventions as required.
• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2 and build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment.
