Job summary

Guardian Jobs in London is seeking a Graduate Unqualified Teacher to gain real classroom experience across KS3 and KS4. This full-time, long-term role starts September 2026 with an initial contract for the academic year.

You will observe outstanding practitioners, support lessons, learn the school's curriculum and behaviour systems, and as your confidence grows plan and deliver lessons, lead classes, and run interventions on your path to teacher training and QTS.

Qualifications

• 2:1 or First-Class degree from a strong UK university.
• Demonstrated commitment to becoming an outstanding educator.
• Academic ability, communication skills and enthusiasm for working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and plan engaging future lessons.
• Lead small-group interventions and support GCSE preparation.
• Provide subject-specific tuition and manage classroom behaviour.
• Assess pupil progress and work with Heads of Department.
• Participate in school CPD and teacher development.
