Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking graduates for September starts in North London, North West London and Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on classroom experience in secondary schools, supporting students across KS3 and KS4 while working with experienced teachers.

We have both full-time and part-time opportunities. The role will help you build confidence, strengthen your CV, and explore teacher training options such as PGCE or QTS before committing to a career in education.

Qualifications

• Graduates with degrees in English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Geography, History, PE, Languages or other relevant subjects are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Willingness to support KS3/KS4 learners and assist with lessons.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff
• Assisting with lessons and classroom activities
• Providing additional support to students who need it
• Helping maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
• Potentially leading small‑group activities or lessons as your confidence develops
• Gaining valuable experience that can support a future PGCE, QTS or teacher training application
