Qualifications

• A recent university degree or equivalent qualification.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Confidence working alongside teachers and supporting pupils in a busy secondary school environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 through 1:1, small-group and classroom-based support.
• Working alongside experienced teachers and gaining first-hand insight into life as a secondary school teacher.
• Supporting Maths, English and Science interventions and catch-up sessions where appropriate.
• Providing additional support to pupils with SEN, SEMH and other learning needs.
• Helping pupils stay focused, engaged and motivated throughout lessons.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and acting as a positive role model.
• Supporting classroom routines and developing your own confidence in an educational setting.
