Job summary

Masterclass Education is seeking an Unqualified Teacher to cover secondary lessons in Worthing. Start ASAP, with options for full-time or ad hoc work, at £110 per day. Working hours are 8:30am–3:30pm in the Worthing area.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classes of secondary students, and maintain a positive learning environment. DBS check required; ability to follow lesson plans and school policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing a classroom or groups of young people.
• Confident communication and strong classroom management skills.
• A positive, adaptable and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow lesson plans.
• A passion for supporting young people's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Lead and manage classes of secondary-aged students.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Follow school behaviour policies and ensure students remain engaged.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each day.
