Job summary

Via is recruiting a Trainee Recovery Practitioner for Cheshire West & Chester (Base Ellesmere Port). This entry-level role offers hands-on support to people affected by alcohol and drug use, in a fast-growing organisation.

You will need lived experience of substance misuse and be willing to obtain the OCNLR Level 2 Award in Peer Mentoring within 12 months. The role is on-site, part-time, with a salary starting from £26,228 per year (pro rata).

Qualifications

• OCNLR Level 2 Award in Peer Mentoring or equivalent.
• Willing to complete this qualification within 12 months.
• Experience or empathy for substance misuse sufferers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with substance misuse in a community setting.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to aid recovery.
