Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for primary schools in Wednesbury, Sandwell. Roles are offered on both full-time and part-time bases, including long-term and supply opportunities, with induction support and mentors.

You will deliver engaging lessons across EYFS to KS2, align with the UK National Curriculum, assess progress, and collaborate with staff to raise attainment. Candidates should hold QTS, be passionate, and prepared for CPD and a supportive induction.

Qualifications

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Are Early Career Teachers (ECTs), recently qualified teachers, or those completing their induction.
• Have a genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's learning.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Are enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality education.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
• Can provide two professional references covering teacher training placements and/or recent employment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
• Assessing, monitoring, and adapting teaching to support pupil progress.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development.
