Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager for our holiday parks. You will work with the Maintenance Manager to develop leadership skills and prepare to run your own team, focusing on maintenance operations within a caravan park environment.

The role requires prior maintenance experience, strong communication with guests and staff, and a DBS check. Join us to contribute to safe, high-standard facilities and a great guest experience across our parks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Operative or Maintenance Team Leader.
• Experience in maintenance operations within a caravan holiday park.
• Excellent communication skills with guests and team members.
• Role is subject to a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Organise and carry out repairs across the park, including venues, chalets, caravans, drains, groundwork and buildings.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment within accommodation units and caravans, responding promptly to requests.
• Assist in delivery of gas bottles and distributing deliveries to relevant departments; litter picking around the park.
• Support moving and siting of caravans and lodges with the Holiday Sales Department to maintain standards.
• Assist in planning and maintaining the maintenance program for public and staff areas, accommodation, bars and venues in line with legislation and company standards.
• Prepare accommodation and facilities for Open and Closed Season programs to meet agreed standards.
• Work as part of a Management Team, providing support to other departments for smooth park operation.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and other company procedures.
