Meridian Business Support Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join an established North‑west M&E contractor’s commercial team. You’ll gain training and upskill in the M&E sector, with a stable pathway to grow within the business.

The role involves pricing regional M&E projects across the North‑west, maintaining profitability, and delivering robust cost control. Excellent communication, team work, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed RICS or equivalent course.
• Experience in M&E is not required, but transferable skills help.
• Excellent communication skills and strong MS Office capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage value and cost of commercial M&E projects at various stages.
• Act as the focal point for communications between clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Deliver profitability on assigned projects and meet targets and deadlines.
• Manage risk and change processes and work with legal teams on contract documentation.
• Provide commercial advice and support to the client ensuring quality is maintained.
• Produce client applications and cost value reconciliations (CVRs).
• Monitor and manage project cost reporting and risk meetings with directors.
