Continuity of Care Services Ltd in Ramsgate seeks a Learning Disability Support Worker to assist an 18-year-old with Autism, Treacher Collins Syndrome and multiple needs. You will help him access social events and activities; he is non-verbal, profoundly deaf, using BSL for communication.

A calm, patient, and consistent approach is essential. Role includes supporting daily activities, outings, and home-based sensory engagement, with funded training available and a focus on building meaningful

Qualifications

• British Sign Language trained (desirable – training provided).
• Experienced in care (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• A caring, patient and compassionate person.
• Confident supporting complex care needs.
• If you don't have BSL, training can be provided via our academy.

Responsibilities

• Support the client safely and encourage independence.
• Help the client enjoy social events and activities.
• Provide calm, patient, consistent care for complex needs.
• Assist with daily living tasks and community outings as required.
