Job summary

Aspens Charities is seeking caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our Outreach team in West Sussex, providing person-centred support to two gentlemen with autism and learning disabilities.

You'll assist with personal care, meals, household tasks, appointments and community access, with full training and ongoing support provided. Flexible shifts include 20 hours per week, with potential for split hours or relief work.

Qualifications

• Full training and ongoing support provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with personal care.
• Preparing meals and encouraging healthy eating.
• Supporting with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Attending appointments.
• Supporting access to the local community, including walks, places of interest and visits with family.
• Promoting independence while ensuring safety, health and wellbeing at all times.
• Some shifts are worked alongside another Support Worker, while others involve lone working.
