Job summary

Elmbridge Electrical Services is recruiting an apprentice fire and security engineer to join their expanding team. You’ll learn on-site alongside experienced engineers, installing, maintaining and fault‑finding on access control, video surveillance, intruder and fire alarm systems.

Training is delivered by Skills for Security, at the Watford centre, through a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship with block release every eight weeks.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence required due to travel requirements.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 (or equivalent) required.
• Electrical or engineering experience would be a bonus.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork experience.
• Comfortable working at height and in security environments.
• Keen to learn more about the wider fire and security industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fault‑find on Access Control systems.
• Install, maintain and fault‑find on Video Surveillance systems.
• Install, maintain and fault‑find on Intruder alarms.
• Install, maintain and fault‑find on Fire alarms.
