Job summary

Arup is seeking a Summer Internship in Building Services - Electrical Engineering in London. You will join our Buildings team for a six-week period, supporting engineers on live projects and gaining hands-on experience in design, coordination and delivery.

You are pursuing an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, aiming for a 2.1 or above, and you are passionate about sustainable building design and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• on track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent), as proven through the modules that you have completed to date
• demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design

Responsibilities

• Provide support to team members to deliver an effective and professional service on strategically won projects.
• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team and gain understanding of the role of a design engineer.
• Work as part of project teams to deliver effective services alongside Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
