Job summary

Arup is seeking Electrical or Building Services Engineering Summer Students to join our Buildings teams across the UK. This 6-week internship offers hands-on experience delivering electrical and building services designs, coordinating with architects, structural engineers and project managers, and gaining insight into how we operate on real client projects.

During the rotation you will assist in preparing designs, work with relevant software, and develop an understanding of the role of a design

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent), as proven through modules completed to date.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.

Responsibilities

• Support design team to deliver electrical/building services designs.
• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team and use relevant software.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams including Architects, Structural Engineers and Project Managers.
