Job summary

Arup is offering a 4-week Summer Internship in Building Services for Electrical Engineers in Southampton. You will support the team, prepare designs, and learn how design engineers operate within multidisciplinary projects.

The role provides exposure to a range of buildings projects and collaboration with Architects, Engineers and Project Managers. Applicants should be pursuing an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering and be on track for a 2.1 or higher.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team.
• Gain understanding of the role of a design engineer by using relevant software.
• Work with project teams to deliver services to clients.
