Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) in East Suffolk. The role involves supervised delivery of mental health interventions for children and families within educational settings, with a structured training year at Band 4 and progression to Band 5 on completion.

You will study at university (UEA) and undertake placements, with 37.5 hours per week and a fixed-term contract of 24 months.

Qualifications

• Must be able to study at degree level.
• Basic literacy and numeracy at level 2 or higher.
• Experience with children and young people is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed interventions under supervision.
• Support direct work with children, young people and families.
• Participate in training and placement arrangements with university expectations.
