The Belvedere Academy in Liverpool is seeking a Deputy SENCO for a full-time role. Salary on the Main Teacher's Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) will depend on the successful candidate. Start date after February half term (2027) or earlier.

You will work closely with the SENCO to develop and lead SEND provision, applying a relational approach to behaviour and inclusive curriculum delivery. Teaching commitments are expected as part of the role.

Formación

• Aspiring leader with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, inclusive classroom practice in a secondary setting.
• Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice and practical, classroom-based strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop and manage SEND provision alongside the SENCO.
• Teach some lessons within a two-week timetable cycle (15–20 periods per cycle).
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers.
