Heart of Worcestershire College is offering an apprentice chef role at a busy gastro pub in Hanley Swan, Worcestershire. You’ll learn on the job, gaining hands-on experience across all kitchen areas under qualified chefs while working mornings and evenings with college time built in.

Duration is 1 year 6 months with wage £19,968 in the first year and potential increases as you gain experience; the apprenticeship includes hands-on training, knife skills, and kitchen safety practices.

Qualificações

• GCSE Maths (grade 4) required.
• Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience.
• The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare a variety of fresh ingredients for use in dishes throughout service.
• Use a variety of cooking techniques.
• Assist the chefs during service, with the view to progress to running your own section during service under supervision.
• Assist in the cleaning of the kitchen both at the end of the day and deep cleans throughout the week.
