Job summary

Supply Team Education Ltd is recruiting an Unqualified Teacher to work within secondary schools in the Cardiff area. This role offers an excellent pathway into classroom experience and can lead to permanent roles in the future.

We welcome Overseas Trained Teachers or Newly Qualified Teachers to apply. You will bring reliability, enthusiasm and confidence, with transferable skills from coaching, youth work or similar backgrounds, to support students across lessons and duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in education not required; willingness to learn on the job.
• Reliable and enthusiastic with strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise class work and ensure behaviour is maintained.
• Collect worksheets and set homework as directed by the teacher.
• Comply with child protection, health and safety, and data protection policies; report concerns.
• Report disruptive or escalating behaviour as per school policy.
• Keep the classroom tidy at the end of each lesson.
• Undertake form/lunchtime/break duties including registration cover.
