Job summary

You will supervise classes, collect worksheets, follow safeguarding policies, report incidents, keep the classroom tidy, and cover form/lunchtime duties as directed. The position offers steady, varied work and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience as Overseas Trained Teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and confident individual passionate about working with pupils of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Supervising work that has been left for the class and ensuring acceptable behaviour is maintained.
• Ensuring worksheets/books are collected and homework set by the class teacher.
• Be aware of and comply with policies relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
• Reporting of any disruptive or escalating behaviour in line with school policy.
• Ensure the classroom is left tidy at the end of each lesson.
• Undertake form/lunchtime/break duties including registration cover, as directed.
