Aspire People are recruiting Unqualified Teachers to work across secondary schools in Cardiff and the surrounding areas. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates, sports coaches, tutors and teaching assistants who want to gain classroom experience.

No formal teaching qualification is required, and this role offers immediate starts with both full-time and part-time placements across Cardiff and surrounding areas.

The Role

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary school subjects

No lesson planning is required, as schools will provide lesson materials and resources.

Who We're Looking For

• Confident individuals who can lead a classroom
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A positive, adaptable and reliable approach
• A genuine interest in supporting young people
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

Relevant backgrounds may include sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, teaching assistance, childcare, care work, mentoring, performing arts or other roles involving leadership and supporting young people.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration in Wales, or willingness to register
• Two professional references covering the last two years minimum
