Job summary

Stantec in Plymouth is offering a Graduate Civil Engineer role within our Buildings discipline. You will join a close-knit team of engineers delivering civil design for building projects, assisting with drainage, highways, earthworks and site layouts, and contributing to calculations and drawings.

The role supports professional qualification pursuit (IEng/CEng) and provides broad exposure to client interactions, site inspections, and multidisciplinary collaboration across South West projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office is expected.
• Interest in the Buildings sector and AutoCAD experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of civil engineering designs for building infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to drainage, highways, car parking layouts, earthworks, site levels and vehicle tracking assessments; assist with calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
