Job summary

Apex Hotels in Dunblane is seeking a committed Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will help deliver high-quality breakfast, lunch and dinner to our guests, under the guidance of senior chefs, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter (preferred)
• Ability to deliver high standards of food
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
• Willingness to learn and provide a warm guest experience

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about food, preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to company standards
• Ensure guest satisfaction at all times
• Prepare dishes on time in line with brand standards
• Prepare mis-en-place for relevant dishes
• Keep equipment and work spaces clean and hygienic
• Assist Chef de Partie with mis-en-place, cooking and service
• Maintain cleanliness of the section and storage areas, following health and hygiene regulations
