Job summary

Eurovia Surfacing in Gloucester is recruiting an Operative on a permanent, full-time basis to support on-site activities. You will follow Health, Safety and Environmental policies, maintain equipment, manage site waste, and contribute to cost control while delivering quality work.

The role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, reliable communication, and the ability to work to deadlines. A full UK driving licence is desirable and training will be provided to ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Experience of working on site in a civil engineering or construction environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and complete daily records accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and procedures.
• Help control costs by looking after company property and equipment.
• Support waste reduction on site by minimizing material waste and emissions.
• Assist QA processes including temperature checks and daily laying records with a right-first-time approach.
• Accurately complete daily record sheets, traffic management sheets, plant inspections and defect reports.
• Attend programmed training as required.
• Ensure understanding and compliance with all company systems and policies.
• Carry out reasonable tasks requested by management.
• Help ensure plant is parked safely, report damage and defects to Foreman / Contracts Supervisor.
